8-Hr. KY MLO 2025 CE Package
This complete package includes all 8 hours of annual continuing education required of individuals maintaining a state-issued mortgage loan originator (MLO) license in Kentucky.

- 1 Hour KY SAFE: 2025 Kentucky Law Review Course
A mortgage loan originator (MLO) licensed in Kentucky is required to complete eight total hours of continuing educational annually. This includes:
- Three hours on federal mortgage-related laws
- Two hours on ethics, fraud, and consumer protection
- Two hours on traditional and non-traditional mortgage products
- One hour of Kentucky-specific education
This online self-study course satisfies the one hour of required state-specific education. Within the course, students will spend time reviewing state regulations and acts impacting mortgage loan origination activities; perusing scenarios, examples, or case studies; an completing exercises to demonstrate understanding of the content.

An MLO who has completed their pre-licensure education (PE) course requirements in the same year in which the license was approved is not required to complete CE within the same year.
Successive Years Rule:
A licensee may not take the same CE course two years in a row.
